CITIZEN was founded in 1918 as the Shokosha Watch Institute. We have held the believe of “Better Starts Now” since then- that is, no matter who you are and what you do, it is always possible to make something better, and now is the time to start doing it. Sharing this belief, we have made watches, invented and improved technologies and explored the future of watches such as proprietary light-powered Eco-Drive technology, and Super TitaniumTM and Satellite Wave GPS.

In 2015 CITIZEN Watches Australia marks its 50th anniversary, celebrating half a century of improving the lives of everyday Australians with innovative, world-class watches.
